The Ugandan music industry is very dynamic. Each day, we get to hear a new song and watch a video that is probably better than our previous favorite one.

The songs that usually make it to the top do not normally come from already established stars.

Ugandans do not care if you are a budding artiste, as long as your song hass a danceable vibe, or it is relatable to the situation at hand, they will listen to it.

Since we are not allowed to go clubbing, we have rounded up top five songs played in Uganda this month:

1. Mugole - Eddy Kenzo

‘Mugole’ is a love song where Kenzo addresses the issue of marriage. He narrates to his woman how his fans are begging him to introduce her to them. He also vows to stick by his new woman.

2. Bwobayo – Weasel

Early this month, Weasel bounced back with a dancehall song dubbed 'Bwobayo'. In the jam, Weasel reveals how much love he is willing to dish out to his woman. The audio was produced by Artin Pro and the simple video is a product of award winning videographer, Aaronaire On Set.

3. Sharp Shooter - Chozen Blood

The audio version of ‘Sharp Shooter’ dropped in May, with the video being released early this month. The song has amazing beats that will surely leave you dancing. The video was shot and directed by Jah Live in the beautiful sceneries of Busaabala based Kazi Beach Resort.

4. Ndi Byange - Fik Fameica

In April, Fik Fameica dropped Ndi Byange audio, with the video premiering early this month. In the new release, the 'Fresh Gang Records' boss stresses that he is busy doing what pleases him and cannot associate himself with negative energy. The audio was produced by Artin Pro.

5. Love Panic - Vinka

Early this month, Vinka bounced back with 'Love Panic'; narrating to her lover how she always panics when he shows up. The beautiful lyrics were penned down by fellow record label artiste and renowned songwriter Azawi. The audio was produced by Nessim Pan Production.
