DJ Cuppy Reveals What Attracted Her to Work with Rayvanny on ‘Jollof on the Jet’

Nigeria’s music genious DJ Cuppy has revealed qualities that attracted her to work with Tanzania’s Rayvanny on her new hit ‘Jollof on the Jet’.
Speaking during an interview on Tuesday, DJ Cuppy pointed out that it was the first time she worked with an East Africa artiste.
The DJ added that they were introduced through Diamond following the release of their ‘Tetema’ collabo last year.
According to Cuppy, Rayvanny’s funny and crazy character attracted her to him something that makes them alike and translated into musical chemistry.

The jockey adds that she has been a big fan of Rayvanny and wished to work with him on a project.
"Since Tetema, I love his music and I started following him on social media and Rayvanny is like me...he is full of charter and crazy. Diamond Platnumz has been supportive as well,” said Cuppy.
According to Cuppy, they decided to feature Rayvanny as they wanted a bongo spice to the track.
The DJ added that they allowed Rayvanny to be versatile and sing in Swahili as he wished.
“You come on the song and do what you want to do...you have to let Vanny Boy be Vanny Boy,” added DJ Cuppy.
The collabo is part of Rayvanny’s scheduled projects with international musicians.
