Ugandan artiste Eddy Kenzo is set to make a return to Uganda after the government announced that it has chartered a plane to repatriate all Ugandans stranded in West Africa.

The flight is expected to bring back Ugandans stranded in Lagos, Accra, Abidjan and Douala.

The excited 'Mugole' hit maker shared the news on his social media handles, after which fans flooded his page with congratulatory messages.

Earlier this month, Eddy Kenzo in a heartbreaking post expressed concern regarding how Ugandans and the government do not care about his well-being, since the government had made no effort to bring him back.

The Big Talent boss had traveled to Ivory Coast for a concert and before he could come back, he was locked out of the country when President Yoweri Museveni ordered a total shutdown of the Entebbe International Airport, and all borders both on land and in the air in response to containing the spread of the Corona virus.

His fans including the speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga tried so much to bring him home, but all was in vain.

Early this month, Eddy Kenzo became frustrated and really agitated when a number of Ugandans stuck in the diaspora were flown back home by the government.
