Eugene Kwame Marfo, popularly known by his stage name as Kuami Eugene says that he is happy about the exit of DopeNation from their record label Lynx Entertainment.

This was revealed in a conversation with JoyNews’ Doreen Avio, where the Highlife artiste Kuami Eugene said that even though he doesn’t know the reason why the duo opted to sign out of the label after a year of working together, they are courageous to have made the decision to work on their own.

“I think there is time for everything. If this is the time for them to leave and they have been able to muster courage and be on their own, may God help them and I am so happy for them,” he said.

Kuame Eugene stated that just because Dope Nation has left Lynx Entertainment does not mean their world is ending but rather starting a new chapter.

“What would be shared among four boys will be shared among two boys.” He added.

The ‘Walaahi’ hitmaker went ahead and dismissed rumors that were going around about him departing Lynx Entertainment. He said that the contract he has with the music label is not over and when it ends, it is still upon him to decide whether to exit or to stay.

“I am with Lynx Entertainment. I am not leaving now, so, those record labels sending me messages that I should come and we talk should hold on. I am not going anywhere.”
