Just how much would you be willing to pay to attend a concert? Well Jose Chameleon has faced alot of criticism and backlash over one of his upcoming concerts dubbed 'One man, One show, One Stage' set to be held on the 19th of December and will cost a total of one million ugandan Shillings on entrance translating into about Ksh 35,000.
This has been considered atrocious in Uganda's entertainment circles since never before in history has anyone ever been able to hold a concert for more than Ksh 3000, but as he explained this evening during an interview with radio Citizens Mzazi Willy M Tuva, all the proceeds from the concert will be diverted towards a good cause
" This concert i have to say was inspired by a situation i witnessed in karamojong, Uganda i saw a mother bathing her child using water from her mouth and she was doing this to limit the amount of water she was using and with just 4 mouth fulls of water she bathed the child and this broke my heart and i said i have to do something" he shared.
" This concert is a way for me to raise money for a good cause and i want to support my people by using this money to build boreholes; people have been talking so much saying i want to use this money for my own needs but this is not true and honestly 1 million is not a large amount, this is really pocket change to some people so there is no need to exaggerate" he went on to add.
Well there you have it, straight from the horses mouth but now the question remains Would you be willing to pay such an amount just to attend a concert? feel free to share your views.
