#Spotlightartist: Fast rising Hip Hop star, Aldi

The Kenyan Hip Hop scene has for so long been one of the most appreciated genres of music, being termed as the foundation of the Kenyan music industry. Over the years we have seen the continuous development and emergence of new and different artists who are soaring high and diversifying the genre to different segments, this includes Mombasa based artist Aldi who is set to take over the Crunk scene of the industry.

Born in Kibera, Aldi who is a young up and coming Hip hop star from Mombasa started his journey with music back in 2010 with the releases of his single 'Party All Nite' a duet with the Hip hop canvas, and from then on his foundation as an artist in the industry was set and he has since then set out to establish himself as a force to reckon with

"I started my music right after i finished high school and it was not easy because my family was not into it, so i had to hustle hard to cover the costs of studio sessions. Personally i got into music as a natural talent and it is what i am passionate about"

Drawing his inspiration from artists both regionally and internationally, Aldi's lyrical prowess has catapulted him to being dubbed as the next ‘big thing and without a doubt the sky's the limit for this rising star,

Currently the artist is embarking on recording his first studio album that he hopes will be released early next year, as well as a new music video Yeah in which he has teamed up with Creative Concept Media.

"I hope to achive all my goals mostly in music.and my limit is to reach for the sky and that's winning a BET and MAMA AWARDS and to see the whole world dancing to my music"
