For over a month now, Uganda Hip-hop musicians; G.N.L Zamba and Gravity Omutujju have been going hard at each other, an exchange that caught the attention of legendary musician Navio.

The beef the two is all about superiority, with both artistes claiming that they are the best.

Despite their exchanges dominating social media, blogs and the mainstream media, G.N.L Zamba has denied having a beef with Gravity Omutujju.

"This is not a beef. I want you to differentiate between someone they have attacked from that one defending himself. In Hip-hop we have something called a battle. You can be brothers but attack each other, shake hands and go home but Gravity does not get this.

"He wants a battle where he attacks people's mothers, wives, character; like he said I bleached yet we are all black and fighting for one cause," he said.

At one point, Gravity alleged that Zamba attacked his dark skin tone, claiming that he has a black heart. However, the latter notes that his statement was taken out of context.

"I only told him to cleanse his heart from hate because every time I come back to Uganda, they tell me that he said I do not have a hit. This keeps me wondering whether we are after quantity rather than quality.

"I only asked him where he got the inspiration to redo a late Kafeero song if he says I have never inspired him. He always waves his hankie but no artiste was doing this before I dropped my 'Wuuba Akatambala' jam. We should appreciate each other but it should not be about disrespect to everyone who is better than you. All my fans have given me these legendary names and I believe his fans gave him too so why does he want my respect. I do not give out crowns. I stick to my own lane and do my own things," Zamba said.
