Kuami Eugene Announces Release Date of ‘Son of Africa’ Album

Award-winning Ghanaian singerEugene Kwame Marfo popular known on stage as Kuami Eugene has disclosed the release date for his much-anticipated second studio album dubbed, “Son Of Africa”.

He took to social media on Thursday, 9 July 2020 to say that the album will be made available officially on 9 October 2020. Accompanying the visuals of the ‘Angela’ hitmaker who was captured clad in Afrocentric regalia was this: “I’m Super Excited To Share With You The Date I’ll Be Dropping The #SonOfAfrica???????? Album. Thank you for patiently waiting and always being here for Me. I’m forever grateful for the Love! #RockStar.”

The Lynx Entertainment signee released his debut ‘Rockstar’ album in 2018 with songs like 'Angela', 'Wish me well', 'Confusion', 'Walaahi' and 'No More' featuring Sarkodie together with their videos.

The 23 year old artiste started his music csreer in church from a very young age where he also learnt how to play the drum, keyboard and guitar. Kuami Eugene dropped out of school because of his love for music and spent more than two months studying music in a studio located in the Eastern Region without informing the school authority and his mother.

He won the New Artist awards from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK. He also received the Most Promising Artist in Africa award from (AFRIMA). Kuami Eugene is touted as one of the most-promising talents in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
