According to Leone Island management, the violent act was carried out by a team of wasted youths who are making it a point to ruin Chameleone's name and tarnish his ambition of standing for Kampala Mayoral post.

Below is Leone Island’s full statement:

Please disregard false accusations making rounds on social media that Chameleone beat up a producer in Makindye-Luwafu. I can reliably inform you that Chameleone is a big celebrity that welcomes all people irrespective of the status quo, the violence was made by a team of wasted youths disguising to be in the entourage of Chameleone.

Mr Diggy Baur coming out to falsely accuse Chameleone creates a big question why and who is using him to destroy Chameleone's name. Mr. Joseph Mayanja has out grown any forms of violence and he is looking at the bigger responsibilities for Kampala City. We strongly condemn any form of violence and push for unity, peace. We can assure the general public of a Kampala free of violence and crime.
