Jessie Ware Just gifted us with a beautiful album titled ‘What’s Your Pleasure’ and off it she has released her newest single, ‘Step Into My Life’.
‘Step Into My Life’ is a single about allowing yourself to be completely taken in by a love and surrendering yourself for it to happen. Jessie Ware is one of the most gifted songwriters and this song is all the proof anyone would need.
The single is a disco pop song. Jessie Ware tapped into the 80s and gave us good trip back to when The Bee Gees were popping. From the sound to the vocal arrangement, everything about this song is reminiscent of the disco era. Jessie Ware has a beautiful voice and she layers that with some background vocals to create a band illusion where they harmonize from beginning to the end of the song.
The video is as disco just without the disco ball lights and the crowds; Jessie Ware does not appear in this video actually. The video is set in a bowling alley with only Eric Schloesser, the dancer. Eric is dressed in transitioning clothes; 80s to present time. He dances all around the alley, again very reminiscent of the dances at a time of disco.
