Allow me to thrust you into one of my childhood memories, when my dad was educating me in the ways of self appreciation. “Never forget who you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like an armor and it can never be used to hurt you” he would always say.
Love him or hate him Octopizzo is one rapper who has learnt the power of these words and for this reason he uses criticism as his stepping stones. This is very evident in his new video, ‘Salute Me’ featuring Nigeria’s finest, M.I
This is that one video you need some popcorns, a comfortable seat and utter calmness before you watch it. Why? It is outer this world!

From luxurious, exorbitant automobiles to the grand visual quality, Octo just gave you another reason to call him King! Shot in Berlin, the video is centered on Octo’s tour and performances during his time there, which he takes his time to fully indulge us in.
What use would my eyes be if I did not notice his commendable sense of fashion too? He undergoes through multiple wardrobe changes making again reminding you the song title, “Salute Me”.
M.I however makes no appearance in the video but none the less, delivers an impressive set of wordplay which he is famous for, absorbing the rhythm and to some point owning it! The two make the best out of the beat and it will be no surprise if the song tops our charts very soon.
With this kind of music and exceptional videos, we might be able to outwit the problem of West African music preference. Watch the video and hopefully make your Monday less blue.
