Ykee Benda Explains Why He Doesn’t Like Being Posted on Social Media by His Partner

Ugandan musician Ykee Benda is one of the few artistes who rarely displays his love life on social media.
Speaking in a recent interview, the 'Mr Incredible' hit maker opened up on why he keeps his relationships private arguing that social media is not a yardstick for love.
"If I wake up and post you, it is not because I'm pleasing you, It is because I'm enjoying the moment with you and I want to let the world to know that this is my woman. Even if I spend months without posting but I do what I'm supposed to do as your man, you won't feel the need to post you. The world is so spoilt that everyone feels they should post their personal stuff on social media,” he said.

Ykee Benda further noted that everyone should post their relationships at their own will, rather than be put on pressure by their lovers to post them.
"If a woman puts me in that tight position that I have to post her, then she is with the wrong guy. I do it because I want to.” he opined.
He divulged that he does not like it when the woman he is dating posts him all the time on social media because it is not good business for him as a brand.
“I have the business side of it because I'm a brand. You need to inquire and talk to my manager before posting me. It is a marketing brand so the good thing most cases, we should not follow the western world of exposing our businesses through on social media. Posting a woman is more disadvantageous,” he said.
