Naira Marley's "As E Dey Go" Surpasses 1 Million Stream Mark

Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola who is widely known as Naira Marley has garnered and surpassed the 1 million stream mark on Audiomark just three days after the release of the relatable street track titled, “As E Dey Go“ audio and video a day later.
The streams are only on Audiomack and the number would increase if streams on all other music streaming sites are considered.
This Rexxie-produced record has got everyone singing along and loving this song. The new dance step tagged, WugeDance has seen fans participate and five already receiving cash awards of tunes upto 100k so far.
Initially directed by Dir K.this new single ‘As E Dey Go’ is a great follow up record as Naira continues the highlife streak with a family-friendly party track.
Produced by Rexxie the song is a reflection of the Marlian President post-Ramadan. Naira Marley uses this song to subtly address the serious topic of rape culture in Nigeria. Making a clear stance against it. ‘As E Dey Go’ aims to show Naira’s variety and different side to his music.
Just a few days ago, Naira Marley performed at the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja at the weekend amid measures by the Nigerian government to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The singer became the subject of criticisms among Nigerians, especially on social media, after clips of his performance went viral. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in its reaction sealed off the Jabi Lake mall for violating COVID-19 restriction orders.
