While most artistes are decrying the negative effects of lock down, Ugandan artiste Angella Katatumba has revealed that she has gained a lot in the past three in the months.

According to Katatumba, she has used the most of the lock down period to record, write songs and collaborate with different artistes.

"I thank God because personally, the lock down has helped me a lot. It gave me time to focus on music, especially because businesses were closed, people were not working so I focused on my new hit, 'Tonelabira' and promoting it. I have been doing videos and new music that are coming up. We have a project with Kent and Flosso and some other songs with some other artistes,” she said.

"I'm lucky and grateful mainly that we are alive. I thank God that COVID has given me the opportunity to focus on my music,” she added.

Early this year, Angella Katatumba broke up with producer Daddy Andre, but left a hit song that is still trending till now. They may not be on talking terms, but Angella is forever grateful to Andre for the opportunity doing music with him.

"I thank my manager Oceans for introducing me to Daddy Andre, I appreciate Andre for writing and producing ‘Tonelabira’ and making a monster hit. I'm lucky that I met Andre but I do not regret about what happened between us. That is what was meant to be," she noted.
