Burna Boy Set To Drop New Song ‘Be Wonderful’

Popular Nigerian singer Burna Boy will on Friday be releasing a new song.
In a post on his social media pages on Wednesday, Burna Boy whose influence and presence in the Nigerian and global music industry is growing hinted that the new song will be titled ‘Be Wonderful’.
“New Music Friday #BeWonderful,” Burna Boy tweeted.

‘Be Wonderful’ will serve as the second solo project that Burna Boy has released this year.
In February, the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter released ‘Odogwu’ which has been largely successful with its official video attracting over 4.4 million views within three months on the American online video-sharing platform, YouTube.
Burna Boy has also been featured in several other projects among them a remix of Buju’s L’enu that recently hit 2 million streams on Spotify and a most recent collaboration with Master G for the release of Jerusalem remix.
It already looks like a good year for Burna Boy who was recently nominated for the 2020 BET Awards for the category of Best International Act.
He had earlier been ranked the most streamed artist in Sub-Saharan Africa ahead of Davido and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz.
Born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, Burna Boy who rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Like To Party’ which was a lead single to his debut album L.I.F.E.

In 2019, he won several top awards apart from his African Giant album earning a nomination to the Grammy awards. He won Best International Act at the BET Awards and was announced the Apple Music Up Next artist.
The African Giant album was also named the Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA)
