Latest: Chase Forever Drops New Single Titled ‘Justice’ for George Floyd

Ghanaian R&B musician, Chase Forever, has dropped a new single titled ‘Justice’ featuring King James Beats.

The song which was released on Sunday is in support of the #BlackLivesMatter campaign for George Floyd.

“… sad repost and support the Black Lives Movement especially if you’re black like me one love #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforblacklives,” Chase Forever wrote when he shared the song on Sunday.

The Black Lives Matter is a movement dedicated to non-violent civil disobedience in protest to police brutality. The movement became heightened after a 46-year-old black American man, George Floyd, was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill.

Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down, begging for his life and repeatedly saying “I can’t breathe”.

The protest and internet movements started in the United States but has since been held in more than 50 countries across the world.
