Elani's new inspirational video shows the bitter sweet side of karma
5 August 2014
The simple law of life states that for every action you make, there is always an equal or opposite reaction and in Elani's new video, Barua Ya Dunia, they have depicted this law very clearly.
Produced by Ogopa, the video opens with close up images of Maureen, Brian and Wambui as it quickly fades into the story of a young lady who is in an abusive relationship with her partner but finally gets the strength of walking out and getting her freedom. It progresses into similar stories of other individuals who undergo trying situations, however all their stories have the classic light at the end of the tunnel conclusion.

The video is a perfect depiction of what the message of the song is "Usinilengee juu siku moja nitakulenga pia, usinichekee juu siku moja nitakucheka pia" translating into " Do not ignore me because one day i will ignore you too, Do not laugh at me because one day i will laugh at you"
The new single is off their debut album 'Milele' and this marks the third official video they have released from the album and as they revealed in an interview with Mdundo last week, they have more videos coming up soon.
Have a look and let us know what you think of it.
