Song Review: Does Jaguar's song One Centimeter, measure up to your standards?

Kenya’s own musical “Julius Caesar” and entrepreneur, Jaguar, recently dropped a new hooking song “One Centimeter” which is proving quite the dragoon on our Mdundo Charts.

For this reason I hit the streets to find out what your thoughts are on the same:

“Jaguar is simply a legend in the making! He discovered a Kenyan sound that made him very unique and with this same sound he found a way to push the right buttons in the Kenyan market. I love ‘One Centimeter’ for the simple reason that I can  comfortably sing along to most of the song after listening to it just twice! Go Jaguar!” spoke an excited fan. 

Another fan was quick to say, ”Is it just me or do all of Jaguar’s songs sound kind of the same? Plus there is no much content in them! He says the same words over and over again, which is a good trick because he forces the song into our heads, but still, the song is only good for a while. Okay, his new song sounds like something an obsessive boyfriend would tell his girlfriend. I don’t like it!” 

“This song is my jam! I like the smooth beats and transitions in between the verses. It’s an authentic Kenyan song unlike what you find in the industry nowadays. While many flood towards the other genres like hip hop and dancehall, he shines alone in his genre. Kudos Jaguar!” added another. 

Love him or hate him, Jaguar is certainly a force to reckon with! Hit after hit he comes back humble as ever despite the immense success. He walks the fine line juggling both business and music with finesse!
