Kings Music president Alikiba has explained why he is yet to sign a female musician to the label.

Speaking on Wednesday during an interview with Kenya's Radio Maisha, Alikiba stated that at the moment, he is yet to come across a female artist worth signing.

Kiba pointed out that since launching the label, some of the talented female musicians have not come out to show their potential.

The ‘So Hot’ hit maker dismissed the notion that he only prefers male musicians.

“Inawezakana ikitokea in future. Hadi sasa bado hajatokea sio kwamba na deal tu na wanaume. Kwa sababu wanawake wanajificha sana mpaka huwezi mpata mwanamke anaweza fanya shughuli zetu. (It is possible if an opportunity comes up in future. Up to date, nobody has come out not that I only deal will males. Many females are not out here because most cannot handle what we do),” said Alikiba.

Kiba revealed that before signing a new artiste he looks at their talent, ability to sing, and also perform.

The Kings Music label is dominated by males including Tommy Flavour, K2ga, AbdubaKiba, and Alikiba

Alikiba has making headlines this week after he dropped a new feel good jam dubbed ‘So Hot’ that is doing really well online.

He has been having media tours promoting the new release.
