Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, says that his contract with the SM Militants was for life.
This confirmation comes after days of online tensions between the millitants and the self-proclaimed king of dancehall music in Ghana. Zionfelix.net reports that Shatta Wale told Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz Fm that the Militants said they want to work with him for life when he asked about how long they want their contract contract to be.
Shatta Wale further reiterated that the contract signed bounds them till eternity. According to him, anybody who wants to work with the Militants has to pay an amount subjected to a release clause.
Shatta Wale revealed his lawyer is giving pressure to bring the contract for him to write a statement to caution others who would like to work with them.
But when queried why they now seem to have a conflict, he said he is playing mind games. He added that even if he is not working with them, the contract still binds them.
Shatta Wale’s confirmation comes after Bulldog disclosed on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ program that the Militants have signed a lifetime contract.
The controversial dancehall/reggae artiste fired the Militants for their inability to work hard and make him and the SM fans proud.
