Renowned Kenyan musician Weezdom has received a soft landing after recently quitting the gospel music scene.

In April, Weezdom announced that he had quit the gospel industry due to the hate that had engulfed the ministry.

“Been getting so many DM's watu wakiniuliza why I've edited my bio…soon I’ll be explaining why but for now, chenye najua tu ni kwamba i’m no longer doing gospel music nimechoka na vita na chuki za gospel industry ya Kenya,” he said.

The announcement shocked many including Bahati, who was his boss and close ally.

“Quitting gospel music and choosing to be off the music is one of the things that shocked me, bro! But I understand men make decisions and as you take on your new endeavors may God lead & guide you. Remember our motto, failing ain't an option. Blessings,” Bahati posted.

Two months later, Weezdom has secured himself a new job that will see him become Bahati’s new manager.

He has since cleared his old posts on Instagram, starting afresh with posts on his new role.

“Happy to announce to you my new job... official @bahatikenya music manager!!! time to make more money,” he posted.

According to Bahati, Weezdom will be in charge of managing his music content.
