Fik Fameica Explains Why He Ditched His Former Management

In 2018, Fik Fameica announced that he was partying ways with Karma Ivien management following a misunderstanding over funds.
Fik Fameica went on to start his own record label and has so far signed one artist, Mozello Kidz with whom they have a collabo dubbed 'Mukene'.
In a recent interview with NBS, he opened up on his decision to part ways with Ivien, stating that the decision was influenced by the need for his personal growth.
"As an artiste, life is a journey. You get to a point and see it. Time comes when you have to grow on your own as an artiste,” he said.
He divulged that there is no bad blood between him and his former manager, adding that the decision to part ways was well received by Ivien and his team.

Regarding what he has been up to since the lockdown begun, Fik noted that he has been focusing on his other businesses outside music.
"I'm already making money online. My music is selling and I have many things going on behind the camera that I do not show people. You do not have to look at shows alone," he said.
He further noted that he has also been spending a lot of time in nurturing his new signing Mozello Kidz who he wants to see succeed and become a household name in the Ugandan music industry.
"I'm helping him but I'm not his manager just his fellow artiste. He will get management under this same label. He is going to be a standing artiste,” he said.
