Edem Dedicates Upcoming EP to Late Mum

Top Ghanaian musician, Edem, has decided to dedicate his latest EP to his late mother as a way of saying thank you for inspiring him.

The EP which is has no release date is dedicated to and inspired by his mum as revealed in one of his recent social media posts. He revealed how his mum died suddenly while he was at a very young age of 13.

Ghanamusic.com reports that although Edeem may still be nurturing the pain and created by his mother’s early demise, he may hopefully channel that into a beautiful piece of work in Edem’s this upcoming EP.

Edem came into the limelight after his debut album The Volta regime was released in January 2009. The album, which is a result of two years of recordings in Accra had all the lyrics were written by himself. The compositions were produced by Hammer of The Last Two who doubled as the executive producer.
