Rapper G Nako Lists Top 3 Hip-hop Artistes in Tanzania

For some time now, the Tanzanian Hip-hop scene has had some of the top artistes beefing on who is the best.
In a recent interview, G Nako Warara named three top artistes he believes are the best in Tanzania at the moment.
Speaking during the #Instachallenge on Big Sunday Live by Wasafi FM, G Nako identified Nikki Mbishi, Wakazi and P the MC as the top. According to him, Nikki takes the day.

“Kwenye #InstaChallenge @gnakowarawara amesema anavipa heshima kubwa vichwa vya HipHop Nikki Mbishi , Wakazi & P the MC . Lakini kwake @nikkimbishi999 mbishi ni moja ya Best HipHop Mcs hapa Bongo,” Wasafi FM posted.
Reacting to G Nako’s list, Nikki Mbishi took to Instagram and acknowledged the former for the love and support he has accorded him, and his music.
“Thanks my negro @gnakowarawara for acknowledging how we carry on with traditions and customs of HIP HOP/RAP music,” he posted.
The Hip-hop genre in Tanzania is growing rapidly, and has started posing a threat to the dominant Bongo flavor genre.
In May, the dynamic duo of Rostam topped Hip-hop charts in the country thanks to their new viral hit ‘Kaka Tuchati’.
