Former Blu*3 diva Jackie Chandiru is back on our screens with a brand new jam titled 'Quarantine'.

Unlike other artistes who’ve covered songs on this subject, Jackie Chandiru delivers her song quite differently, narrating how she wants to be locked down in quarantine together with her partner.

The audio was produced at E.J records, with the video being directed by renowned video director Enos Olik from Kenya.

‘Quarantine’ is Jackie Chandiru's first song of the year after her relapse. She had reportedly sunk deep in drug addiction, and had to be confined in a rehab centre after she became very ill.

Her family kept her away from the media and refused any visitation from the people outside her circle.

The 'Gold Digger' hit maker was able to pull through, and in 2019, she made public appearances and even went back on stage.

However, it was not long before she bounced back to the addiction and got admitted again.

Event promoters and renowned gospel artiste Pastor Bugembe started an online campaign soliciting funds from people to cover her medical bills.

Her family, however, closed down the campaign, noting that they were more than capable to afford her treatment without public sympathy.
