Plagiarism is a very common practice in the Ugandan music industry, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose. Sometimes it's ‘unconscious borrowing’, and other times it is a ‘musical homage’.

We have witnessed rappers like Fik Fameica being attacked on social media for allegedly plagiarizing songs especially Nigerian music.

Self-styled smallest rapper Feffe Bussi is the latest artiste to be accused of the same vice.

Fellow rapper, Jim Nola MC has laid claims saying Feffe Bussi copied his latest single, 'Nkwe za Walumbe'.

This was after the FBM boss released video clips of studio session on social media recording a new free style.

The ‘Abedunego’ hit maker could not help noticing that the beats and the flow were very similar to his song which he released on the 29th of May 2020

"I heard of a rapper who copied and pasted my song but I request him to at least change a bit though for him he doesn’t do wrong. However, I would again kindly ask him not to disregard my plea. In his act, I see him as someone who wants to awaken the Najjera and Nansana beef," Jim Nola MC said in an interview with Galaxy FM.
