Renowned Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo has toned down on his complains about being stranded abroad, and has decided to focus on other issues.

In a post on his social media pages, Eddy Kenzo divulged that he has finally acknowledged that the issue is out of his control, and he has no other option but to trust the Almighty God.

He advised and encouraged other Ugandans who may be stranded in other countries not to give up, adding that in due course, God will come through for them.

"Truth is, I want to come back because I miss home. But there is a reason as to why I'm stuck here. I know God does not have bad plans for me and he is probably saving me from something. Let me keep here until when God decides on my return. To all my fellow Ugandans going through the same situation, please be strong.

"Let us focus on our mental health and keep alive because there is no living hero. Let's fight this mental health battle guys. Let us protect ourselves amidst these trying times. I believe the situation is temporary and everything will be fine one day. Let's keep strong my people. Be it a year or month, I will be back home stronger than ever. I'm a hustler," Eddy Kenzo said.

This comes a week after Parliament Speaker Rebecca Kadaga tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to repatriate the singer back to the country.

Eddy Kenzo is currently stranded in Ivory Coast where the lock down found him. He had traveled to perform at the Masa Fest on 16th March 2020. After his performance, the ''Semyekozo' hit maker chose to stay behind to finish up some projects and just when he thought about flying back to the country, the ban had already been issued.
