After having the honor to headline alongside some legends on the Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica, another Record has been set by the dancehall king Shatta Wale. He becomes The First and Only Ghanaian Artiste To Be Featured On The Digital LED Screens Of Times Square In Manhattan, New York City – US. Shatta Wale has taken to his social media page to share the good news and appreciate his fans for the support.
Indeed his hard work is speaking for him and doesn’t need to tell anyone of how hard he works as he’s always putting Ghana out there. Not surprising, Shatta Wale’s song on the album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica too is titled Dream which has been featured on the famous Time Square advertising space in NewYork. It is indeed every artiste’s dream to appear on such space and Shatta Wale has done it with ease.
He is known professionally as Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana), Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. is a popular award-winning Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and actor. He has won for himself a huge fan base due to his unique style of music. Charles has won numerous awards including winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for his best known single “Dancehall King”, Won at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK. Popular Song of the Year with “My Level” and also won Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
