Sinach Remains At The Top Of USA Billboard

Renowned Nigerian Gospel singer and songwriter Osinachi Joseph officially known as Sinach continues to rule the USA Billboard.
For a record 10 weeks now, that is two and a half months, Sinach has been ranked at number one on the USA Billboard for Christian Song Writer for her hit single 'Way Maker'.
This is a first for any black African songwriter in the Billboard's history.
Apart from being at the top of the Billboard for writing 'Way Maker', two of the covers to the song are also on the top ten.
The two covers are the ones created by Leeland, a Christian rock band from Baytown, Texas and American musician Michael Smith.
This makes Sinach the only and first black African artist to have two versions of a single recorded by different artists, in the top 10 of the Billboard Christian Charts.
'Way Maker' released in December 2015 as a single has been such a hit globally and attracted covers from other artists among them Passion Worship Band, Christafari, and Bethel Music.
In a post on her social media pages on Tuesday night, Sinach simply said "10 weeks on no. 1."
Sinach a senior worship leader at Believers Loveworld released her debut Album in 2008 and since then her career has gone international.
Aside from 'Way Maker', other songs that are popular whuh Sinach has released include 'I Know Who I Am', 'Rejoice' and 'The Name Of Jesus' among others.
To date, Sinach has released nine albums over 1,000 songs.
