Celebrated Kenyan gospel musician Mr Seed has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Sijali’ featuring Timmy Tdat.

‘Sijali’ is a Swahili phrase that loosely translates to ‘I don’t care’. In the song, Mr Seed assures Timmy that God is ready to accept him the way he is, and as such, he should not care about what people say or think about him.

The song has adopted a conversation format where Timmy Tdat raises some of his concerns, and things he thinks will block his way to salvation, after which Mr Seed responds with an assurance that our Lord is a faithful and loving God, who is ready to forgive us our sins regardless of how big or small they are.

“Oh God afanye nini na mimi msee wa dhambi ka mimi nifanye niamini… Alifufua waliodedi karibuni, akanikomboa jo, cheki mimi, ananiinua kila siku nikiwa chini… So Mr Seed ni msee nina na tattoo… sitoangi sadaka nlibuy kiatu,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

‘Sijali’ is relatable and serves as an encouragement to many that may have lost hope on salvation,  that God’s grace is sufficient, and regardless of their sins, he is ready to forgive them and accept them as they are.
