Ugandan artiste Prince Omar is drowning in shame after a renowned Ugandan fashion designer came out on national TV, accusing him of failing to pay him a lot of money.

Sam, a designer known in the entertainment industry for dressing a number of artistes, appeared on TV demanding payment for clothes and shoes he delivered to Prince Omar for a video shoot.

"He had a video shoot in Nairobi with Sasha Vybz and his manager approached me asking for my clothes. I took the attires plus over ten pairs of shoes to Daddy Andre's studio… In total, it was 5 million Ugx.

“In the morning I carried three big bags but Prince Omar told me, it was his dad to pay me. His dad gave me only 3.5 million out of the 5. When I told him the real amount, he told me that was the money he was told to give me," Sam narrated.

Sam claimed he tried contacting him, and despite promising that he would pay upon his arrival in Uganda, Prince Omar blocked his number.

He further noted that when he tried making an Instagram live video, his manager called and insulted him instead.

When Prince Omar was contacted, he admitted taking the clothes on loan, but noted that he is not financially stable at the moment, adding that the debt is not worth the embarrassment and humiliation he has undergone.

"Let us learn a heart of humanity. This situation is affecting all of us. All my shops are closed and what he did, embarrassing me like that is not humane,” he said.

Prince Omar vowed to pay up once he gets back on his feet. This, however, did not sit well with fans, considering that Prince Omar has been participating in charities during this period, and donating items worth millions.
