Masauti Drops New Video ‘Inawauma’

Top Kenyan musician Masauti is back again, this time with a nice video dubbed ‘Inawauma’.

‘Inawauma’ is a story of people who are hurt because of Masauti’s successful relationship with this beautiful lady.

“… Macho yanawatoka wakituona mi na we, roho zawakereketa tunavyopendana na we, wanasubiri pendo kuvunjika, watasubira sana weeh, kitambo mizizi nimeshakita, nimeridhika na weeh, usijali wakikuita kimada, mama wee wapotezee, penzi lako risasi umenimada, kasha kufa kwako wee,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

The song has some Coastal and Bongo like vibe, creating a nice blend which is suitable for a nice slow dance, and yoga sessions especially now that we are locked in our homes.

Listening to the new release, you get to appreciate that Masauti is indeed talented, as his mellow voice jells perfectly with the beat.

The video is on point, and supports the story being told in the song, by portraying how Masauti’s haters behave when they see him with his girl.

Inawauma’ is Masauti’s first song in his upcoming EP dubbed #001.

Before it debuted, Masauti was flying high with Khaligraph’s ‘HAO’ which he featured on, and did the hook in his spectacular voice.

He appears to continue with the same message of hitting out at his critics and haters.
