Last month, Ugandan rapper Mungi Emmanuel Matovu commonly known as Mun G dropped his hilarious ‘Bintwala' (2020) hit single that has gone ahead to top charts.

Known for jumping on trending social media topics, Mun G's ‘Bintwala’ (loosely translated to I'm stressed) is a common slang on the internet lately. People on social media use it to explain stressing situations.

In this song, Mun G explains the stress that comes with the current lock down. He narrates how he is tired of eating the same meal (Posho and beans) every day. He goes on to express how stressed out he is because of being broke.

Mun G who dedicates this period to non-essential workers seated at home, also uses the statement 'Beat the snake’, which is loosely used to explain the situation of being unemployed and idle.

In April, he released raw video clips shot in his backyard, however, due to public demand; Mun G has shot the official video which is now available on his YouTube channel.

The video shot and directed by Zyga Phix, starts with president Museveni's speech of lock down extension.

Later in the video, Mun G features his son, and pays tribute to the late Radio Mowzey by printing his face on the shirt.
