Tems Drops New Song ‘These Days’

Nigerian alt-R&B singer, songwriter and record producer Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems has released a new song.
The new song titled ‘These Days’ produced by Rvdical The Kid was officially unveiled on Tuesday, May 19.
A day before dropping the new song, Tems posted on her Twitter that she had a surprise to her fans.
“Surprise soon,” she tweeted.
Hours after unveiling the new song, Tems who in 2019 had two nominations to the Headies Awards for her hit single ‘Mr Rebel’ said she had also released a lyric video for the new song ‘These Days’.

The lyrics video is directed by Dan Mbo and edited by Prince Marfo .
‘These Days’ “a reflection of our times” is a debut song for Tems this year following a successful 2019 where she had three major songs ‘Try Me', ‘Looku Looku’ and ‘Mr Rebel’ which had two nominations at the Headies for Best Alternative Song and Best Vocal Peformance (Female).
Already, Tems has been enlisted in a collabo by American singer Khalid titled "Know Your Worth” Remix which also features Nigerian superstar Davido that was released sometimes in March.
The 23-year-old singer describes herself as a Nigerian singer focused on promoting the movement currently shaping alternative music in Nigeria to advance the culture and conversation alike.
