Popular Nigerian Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has been nominated for six awards in the United States of America.

Famed for her hit single 'Excess Love', Mercy Chinwo on Saturday took to social media to share the good news with her fans.

The nominations are for the Maranatha Awards - USA

In a post on Facebook, Mercy Chinwo said: "JESUS BE GLORIFIED SIX (6) NOMINATIONS
WE MOVE WITH THE SPEED OF LIGHT."

Voting runs for two months starting from April 25 to June 25.

The Grand Gala Awards for Maranatha Awards USA are scheduled for July 11th in Columbus, Ohio.

Born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Mercy Chinwo is signed to to Eezee Conceptz record label since 2017.

She was the winner of the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012.
