MIDWEEK UPDATE: 5 must know things in the music scene

It’s already midweek, huh? Well let us play with the letter '‘W’' shall we? Wednesday is that wise witty last born who serves as an intuitive diary, capable of reminding you of the school meeting you never attended or that Saturday trip you promised to your son a century ago!

Well that’s the case to most of us since we waste the first two days of the week reminiscing the past weekend event. How about we put that to an end, face and conquer our demons since Wednesday acts as the pillar of the week; a day set aside to review our weekly goals.

Enough of that, let's buckle up for some Entertainment juice set to help us  kick start our Wednesday!!

#1 NEW video alert: mama-kenzo

Let's get one thing clear here! Am not talking about the 5 year old '‘Mama Milka’' jam, no Kenzo seems to have a thing for the word " Mama" which is evident in his latest jam "MAMA’', but this time round  Kenzo comes out to pay tribute and show dedication  to his late  mum in this latest single. The new hit is produced by Maich Blaq and one can’t help but dive into Kenzo’s world as he narrates his life history since his mum’s soul departed, in a mellow song coupled up with guitar and bass vibe.

#2. Tam tam hits over 100K views in a fortnight!

It’s evident that size 8’s marriage advices to Willy paul maintains its juicy status after their "Tamtam" video hits over 100,000 views on YouTube. Willy Paul plays a confused anxious bachelor out to bombard an already taken size 8 with relationship questions, where he highlights (his friends’) soxxy, Gloria Muliro and Dj Mo’s marriages , puzzled why cupid’s arrow  hasn’t struck him yet since he’s eager to follow  his friend’s footsteps. Well seems like the sky is no longer the limit for Willy Paul.

#3. NEW jam: Sauti sol –sura yako.

Just a while after releasing their sizzling “Nishike” video, the talented Afro Pop Sauti Sol band are on again! This time round the 2014 AFRIMMA "Best African group" nominees sailed to the coastal region, embraced their culture fused it with their set of melodious voices and produced "Sura Yako". When we have sauti sol singing “Moyo wangu ni mwepesi, umenikalia chapatti, nafanya vituko kama chizi” we can most definitely concur that justice is served in the song according to their diverse musical nature.
