In 2009, we were treated to one of the best collaborations of all time by double duo, Ganda Boys (formerly known as Da Twinz) and Goodlyfe duo, Radio & Weasel titled 'Dembessa'.

Ganda Boys while premiering their album 'Dance to Da Twinz', revealed that the inspiration behind this fire song was a girlfriend to one of them.

They had talked about this same girl in their song 'Nafunye Nze Omwana'.

"Every time you look at them, like wine, they age gracefully and become more beautiful," they said.

They further noted that a couple of years later, they had to sing more about her, and they were lucky enough that Radio and Weasel were in the UK at that time.

"We thought we would have them on the track so we wrote 'Dembessa' and ended up in studio with a gentleman called Calvin. They had come to work with Sengo international promotionsth” Ganda Boys said.

However, many people have always wondered why Weasel only did a small part in the introduction, considering that he is massively talented.

Explaining the same, the Ganda Boys noted that during the recording session, the producer forgot to press the record button while Weasel was doing his verse.

"The excitement was too much, music was booming but Calvin forgot to press the record button while Weasel was recording his verse,” the group said.

They realized this very late after Weasel and Radio had left for Kampala and could not do anything about it.

"You missed that part because it was so beautiful. That is the reason we shall do something with Weasel again just because of that," they said.
