TUESDAY UPDATE: Must know things in the music scene

Hello World, its Trendy Tuesday but to me it’s Triumphant Tuesday! Red carpet rolled on, cameras on and the stage is set for me and you to write the wrongs with a positive attitude bearing in mind that life’s blows cannot break a person whose spirit is warmed at the fire of enthusiasm!

With that mindset, now let's look at the events currently taking place in the entertainment world:

#1.Wyre to perform at the African music awards (AFRIMMA)

Kenyan music sensation Wyre will perform in this weekend’s afrimma awards taking place in Texas. The love child whose a ‘'Best male east African'’ as well as '‘Best dancehall artist’'  nominee , is  set to share the star studded stage with other Regional and international acts including T-pain, Timaya, Diamond, J Martins and many others. Mdundo wishes wyre amongst other Kenyan artists success ahead of the Saturday awards ceremony.

#2. Meet Kabi Gethaiga

Nyokabi Gethaiga is Kenyan actress, singer and model  a.k.a Kabi Gethaiga starred in the  East African film dubbed 'Going Bongo' which became  the first ever in the region to be sold on iTunes.

What you probably don’t know is that kabi was being lined up to play as '‘Patsey’' in the Oscar winning film '’12 Years a Slave’' which was starred by Lupita Nyong’o .

#3.NEW Jam alert! Mavuno-Kelele takatifu

The Kenyan gospel music has taken the industry by storm thanks to the rise of new vibrant and passionate musicians hungry to make a difference in the industry and one of them being gospel duo kelele takatifu. After keeping their fans waiting for a while, finally the dynamic duo has released the much awaited  Mavuno  video. #4. Kristoff  to link up with Enos Olis ahead of his upcoming projects

Kristoff, fresh from the ''Biashara'' remix where he featured the versatile Stella Mwangi and the talented Khaligraph. The multi talented Artist is setting his eyes high driven by his unique vision, is not stopping at anything less especially after the ‘'Biashara'’ video  gathered over 17,000 views ever since it officially released on Friday this past week.
