Ugandan singer Big Eye Starboss recently announced that he will be holding an online concert, but did not get a good reception from a section of tweeps.

Instead of fans hyping and looking forward to the concert, a number of netizens bashed the singer showing him how uninterested they were.

This is not the first time that Big Eye has received a poor reception, as he was some time back pelted with empty bottles while performing on stage.

Since he has not stepped on stage for quite some time, he feels this online concert will be an advantage, also protecting him from angry fans.

He has vowed to break Bobi Wine's record of 29k viewers, a comment that offended a section of social media users.

In an interview with Spark TV, Big Eye insists he will still hold his concert, and the angry mob will not have the chance to disgrace him on stage, since everyone will be at their homes.

"I'm going to do it for my fans because they are so thirsty for my music since I last stepped on stage. I have this chance to perform for people at home. I'm not even scared because it is the current situation. Whether they like me or not, I have to perform online. I will perform just like I have been doing on my launches. All my songs that people like plus there will be an option of requesting for songs. The show will happen and it will also stream live on my YouTube channel because every view is a penny.

“I'm letting you all know, that I will have this show. I see them preparing to hit me with emoji bottles but that does not hurt me. I know everything will end and I will be back on stage because I know I have fans who are being sabotaged. They are very many and it is just this small group making it hard for me. But I know all this will come to an end after politics," Big Eye said.
