Popular Ghanaian rapper, Guru, has thrown a word of advice to his fellow musicians to focus their priority on making money.
Born Maradona Yeboah Adjei , Guru stated that he’s surprised how some artistes in the country spend much time on Instagram searching for social presence and acceptance instead of focusing on how to make more money from their craft.
In an official twitter post, the musician cum song writer hinted that investing in digital stores results in more revenue than busily looking for likes and comments on Instagram which doesn’t add up anything better to their bank accounts.
“Take note. My dear Ghanaian artiste, 1 million Spotify Streams equal about $7000, whereas 1 million Instagram followers equal likes and comments with no pay, so set your priority right” Guru tweeted.
He further called on fellow musicians to task leaders of the country to fix-in problems of the nation instead of exhausting all their prime leisure time on Instagram.
“Tell the leaders to fix the system in Ghana. Something must change,” Guru urged.
