Beka was among the four artistes that made up of the former Yamoto Band. Before they parted ways, the group was made up of; Aslay, Mbosso, Beka and Enock Bella.

Of the four, Mbosso is arguably the most successful, following his move to join Wasafi records owned by Diamond Platnumz.

The other three are doing equally well, but still struggling to make it big, as Wasafi and other top artistes have dominated the Tanzanian music industry.

As a band, they were able to do several music tours and the also participated in Africa’s Coke studio show.
