Tiwa Savage Set To Release New Album 'Celia'

Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Tiwatope Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage has announced that she will soon be dropping a new album soon.
In the announcement made on her social media pages on Thursday, Tiwa Savage said the new project is titled 'Celia'.
The singer whose music is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, Hip Hop and pop, however, did not indicate when the album will be officially unveiled, only saying "up next".
It is not clear what 'up next' means but it is just a matter of time before finer details about the new project comes out clear.
"Album Time “Celia” UP NEXT," she tweeted.
In a follow-up post on her Facebook page, Tiwa Savage said the album "is special" and pointed out that it will be released under Motown Records label.
"@motownrecords says it’s go time. This body of work is SPECIAL Album “Celia” UP NEXT. All I need you to do is listen," read the Facebook post.
Tiwa Savage who was born in Isale Eko and relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education released her debut studio album titled Once Upon a Time on 3 July 2013.
The album was nominated for Best Album of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and for Best R&B/Pop Album at The Headies 2014.
In November 2018, Tiwa Savage won Best African Act at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards, becoming the first woman to win the category.
Tiwa Savage who began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige sings in English and Yoruba.
