The beats are slow and blend perfectly well with Rekless’ verses. All through the song, you get to hear what he says, while enjoying the beat.

Unlike his role in Ethic where he mostly does the chorus, in the new release, you get to listen to him for an entire 3 minutes.

Listening to the new release, you get to appreciate the fact that Rekless is indeed one of the best rappers and lyricist that this country has seen.

‘Catalogue’ is his fifth single in a period of two months. Last month he dropped ‘Lawama’ and ‘Saliti’ which dominated the airwaves for quite some time.

Listening to all his five solo songs, you get the feeling that Rekless should consider pursuing a solo career, or invest more of his time on solo projects, in addition to his role at Ethic.

Meanwhile, Ethic is currently laying low after they recently released a controversial video that angered a section of their fans.

The video caught the attention of KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua who threatened to take legal action against the group.

Ethic deleted the video from YouTube and issued an apology over the same.
