Zlatan Ibile Drops Tribute Song to Dancer Picture Kodak (Video+Audio)

Musicians and music lovers across Nigeria and West Africa continues to mourn the shocking death of one of the popular dancers and video vixen Picture Kodak.

Picture Kodak who has appeared in many music videos of high-profile artists in Nigeria died on Thursday, April 30, following what was initially reported as an electric shock when she was charging her phone in a studio.

Tributes have been streaming in since news of the tragic death was received.

As a way of paying his tribute to the popular dancer, Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile released a song dedicated to Picture Kodak.

The song was released just hours after news of the death was made public.

In the song, the Zanku Records boss opens up about how much Picture Kodak will be missed.

"Rest In Peace
#kodak your legacy lives on top of the afro dance era. Gone buh never to be forgotten," Zlatan Ibile also posted on his Facebook page.

In another lengthy post on his Instagram account, the singer and rapper narrated how two days ago he was discussing with the departed dancer about her impact of dance and afro best world.

"This sad news got to me and I can't quite place it because you still got too much to offer to the world with your dance," read part of the post alongside a short tribute video.

Zlatan Ibile noted that he met Picture Kodak during a video shoot of his breakthrough song 'My Body' in which he featured Olamide.

Other artists who have paid their tribute to the popular red-haired dancer include Olamide, Wizkid and Burna Boy, all of who she appeared in their videos.
