Mercy Chinwo Wins Top Award In Jamaica

Popular Nigerian Gospel Singer Mercy Chinwo has bagged an award in Jamaica.
Famed for her hit worship song 'Excess Love' Mercy Chinwo was named the International Artist of the Year during The Sterling Gospel Music Awards, People's Choice Category.
In a post on her Facebook page on Monday celebrating the award, Mercy Chinwo thanked her fans for the support.

The Sterling Gospel Music Awards is the only national Gospel Awards show in Jamaica that seeks to recognize and reward individuals in the gospel industry.
Among other notable winners during the awards include:
Album of the year - Rhoda Isabella (Kingdom Rhode)
Male Artist of the Year - Jermaine Edwards
Female Artist of the Year - Rhoda Isabella.
Mercy Chinwo won the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012 and has been signed to Eezee Conceptz record label since 2017.
She recently released visuals to another hit single 'Akamdinelu'.
Mercy Chinwo was to release another album in April but she postponed the event due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
