Watch Boondocks Gang’s New Video ‘420’

Top Kenyan gengetone group Boondocks Gang has dropped a new video dubbed ‘420’.
‘420’ is all about calling for the legalization of bhang in the country.
The group highlights some of the medicinal advantages of bhang which they note include; being a cure for cancer.
Although the lyrics are in deep sheng and may not be appealing to everyone, the beats are slow and have some reggae vibe, making it a danceable tune.
Unlike their other songs, ‘420’ has a very simple video that has been shot in what appears to be an abandoned house.

One of the standout features is the fact the video only features the members of the group, with no video vixens as has been their custom in their past videos.
Three hours after it premiered, the video is doing extremely well with over 13,000 views; an indication that it is set to be a massive tune.
Boondocks Gang kicked the New Year on a high note dropping several songs and featuring on a number of collaborations.
One of the notable collaborations that caused a storm in the country was ‘Taniua’ where they worked with Bahati.
Last week, the group dropped a song dubbed ‘2020’ lamenting the challenges of the new year, and senstising the public about the deadly corona virus.
