Celebrated Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol has released a new inspirational song dubbed ‘Brighter Days Ahead’ featuring the Soweto Gospel Choir.

The song is an encouragement that even though the country and the entire world is struggling with the novel coronavirus today, there will be ‘Brighter Days Ahead’.

“Cos I'm certain brighter days are yet to come Ain't no question that tomorrow there'll be good times (good times) I believe with every beat of my heart… Siku zikizidi Nazidi makinika zaidi I'm holding on a little bit longer What doesn't kill you makes you stronger I see I see a better day (Ngiyabona),” the song’s lyrics read in part.

The lyrical prowess on the song is unmatched, as Sauti Sol and Soweto Chaoir have both brought their A game, making the jam a joy listening to.

The video is simple, and features a live Sauti Sol band backed by the Soweto choir. On the guitar as usual is Fancy Fingers, who has done justice to the new release.

Unlike other groups who’ve focused on releasing songs educating the public on corona virus, Sauti Sol chose a different route, settling on encouraging their fans to have hope and prepare for ‘Brighter Days Ahead’.

As we eagerly await for the corona virus to be neutralised, please be encouraged with this new jam that there will indeed be ‘Brighter Days Ahead’.

An hour after it premiered, the video has over 16,000 views on YouTube, an indication that it is set to be a massive tune.
