Weeks later, President of the popular band group, Mesach Semakula has given an update about Grace Ssekamatte's current situation.

Speaking in an interview, Mesach says that his fellow band member is steadily recovering and is out of hospital.

"God is good that Ssekamatte is no longer in a critical condition because the virus was detected quite early before it could go far. It was still in its early stages and the doctors were able to put him on medication in time.

"Corona is a tricky disease because you can't know how exactly you contacted it. It is not like any other disease to know that you contacted it from a certain place. But he says the disease is very deadly. You reach a point of thinking that you are losing your life. If God revives you, you have to thank him. Right now, he is okay, we chat every day. He was even discharged from hospital. He feels a little weird but you get healed. I have five friends who have recovered from it. Many get tested and do not survive so he has to thank God," Mesach said.

Uganda currently has 55 confirmed cases of Corona virus, 20 recovered and 35 active.
