LadiPoe Drops 2020 Debut Song 'Know You' Featuring Simi (Audio)

Earlier this week, Nigerian singer Ladipo Eso popularly known as LadiPoe or Poe promised that he would be releasing a new song on Friday, and he indeed kept the promise.
The singer has teamed up with fellow songstress Simi in the new song dubbed 'Know You' that is now available in all music streaming platforms.
While giving a hint to his social media followers on how the song would sound like, LadiPoe posted a 30-seconds piece which it now turns out it was actually the intro to the song.
The two singers exchange lines in the intro bringing out a nice blend.
"I really wanna tell you how my day went (How my day went) Really want to spend the weekend (Babe) I for show you this thing I'm feeling (Oh yeah) But I don't really know you that well," reads part of the lyrics.
Basically, 'Know You' is a story of two people, a man and woman, who think they love each other, and want to share the feeling and all that comes with love, but one doesn't know the other that well.
This is brought out well in lines like; "Temporarily, my temperature is telling me That you got me so hot stop girl there is no remedy I But you don't know me well enough to reply And I don't really know you that well."
Apart from the well-crafted lyrics, 'Know You' also has easy to dance to mid-paced beats that will automatically warm you up, especially this period where people are mostly indoors due to Coronavirus.
This is LadiPoe's first song this year.
The official audio for 'Know You' premiered on Friday, April 10.
It is not yet clear whether the singer signed by Marvin Records is working on the video.
In an Instagram post introducing the song, LadiPoe said; "#KnowYou feat @simplysimi out ebergwherey. Post in stories and tag me. LINK ON MY BIO."
The new song is produced by Somi Jones.
