As the world still grapples with the pandemic of the Coronavirus, many people have been trying to get something to do as everyone is under quarantine.
As a way to kill boredom, Kenyans joined the world in the #DontRushChallenge where they would show faces looking all shabby before putting a brush on the camera, and showing off how well they clean up.
This saw an accumulation of collages of people from all walks of life showcase their challenge on the internet.
Most of all it helped show love to some. For one, this challenge pushed up London based rappers Young T and Bugsey’s song “Don’t rush” that has been the background for the challenge.
The song was done back in 2019 and the two rappers did not even know it would go viral a year later.
In a tweet, the rappers appreciated the love saying, “We made Don’t rush a year ago today, who would have thought it would go viral a year later! Don’t rush the process.”
On the other hand, Kenyans have shown their other sides in this challenge and for me the most exciting one was the parents challenge of mothers Kate the Actress, Celestine Ndinda aka Wakavinye, former Tahidi High acress Sarah hassan , Jacky Matubia and Dj Piera Makena among others showing off their mommy side and the sassy side.
In this, they all showed that mothers can do both, take care of kids and still slay.
The Challenge had musicians, models, designers and anybody else who had the tiktok app use the opportunity to showcase their drip side.
